Joining the partner programme

Recommend ISMS Copilot and earn 30% of qualifying subscription payments, for as long as the credited customer keeps paying. How to join, how referrals are credited and how payouts work.

Recommend ISMS Copilot to the people you already advise, and earn 30% of qualifying subscription payments, for as long as the credited customer keeps paying. This is honoured even if the programme closes to new referrals.

What qualifies: Plus, Standard, Pro, Business and Unlimited subscriptions, monthly or annual (payments in other currencies are converted to US dollars), after discounts, credits and proration, excluding tax, and excluding amounts refunded or charged back. Team plans, Embed, usage top-ups, extra usage and API credits do not count. A customer can withdraw the credit, which stops commission on later payments. This is a summary: sections 3.2 to 3.5 of the programme terms have the full rules.

Who it is for

GRC and ISO consultants, vCISOs, trainers and educators, MSPs and MSSPs, newsletter writers and creators who talk to compliance people. You do not need to be an ISMS Copilot customer to join.

If you are a certification-body auditor, check your own independence rules before recommending tools to clients you certify.

How to join

  1. Go to ismscopilot.tolt.io and create your partner account.
  2. Read and accept the programme terms.
  3. Copy your personal referral link from the partner dashboard. It ends in ?via= followed by your link name.

Joining is free and there is no approval wait.

How referrals are credited

There is no tracking cookie. When someone arrives through your link, the page asks them: "Were you sent by a partner? Let us credit them if you subscribe." You are credited only if they answer yes.

  • 60-day window: the referral earns you commission if the customer's first qualifying payment is made within 60 days of them saying yes.
  • First partner wins: the first partner credited on an account keeps the credit. A later link from another partner does not replace it.
  • Privacy: you see counts, commissions and payouts in your dashboard, not the identity of the customers you refer.

Some visitors will say no, and that is their choice. You can tell your audience: "When the page asks whether a partner sent you, Yes credits me." Do not pressure them. The visitor side is explained in How partner referrals are credited.

What you earn

  • 30% of qualifying subscription payments, monthly or annual billing, upgrades included. If a customer moves from Plus to Pro, your 30% applies to the new qualifying payment.
  • For as long as the credited customer keeps paying, including after you leave the programme or the programme closes to new referrals. A confirmed breach of the terms can affect this, as sections 3.1 and 7 of the terms explain.
  • No earnings cap. Commissions that are unusually large for your account (currently above USD 1,000 in a calendar month) may be held for review. A hold lasts no more than 30 days, unless a specific dispute (for example about fraud or a payment) is still open, in which case we keep you updated. A review threshold is not a cap.

An illustration, not a promise: a Business customer on monthly billing at the full USD 200 price earns you about USD 60 a month (USD 600 a year on annual billing at USD 2,000), excluding tax. Discounts reduce it.

Refunds: a refund or chargeback reverses the commission on that payment, in proportion for a partial refund. When a customer simply cancels later, the commissions you already earned stay yours.

Not eligible (examples): your own account, or one belonging to you, your employer, your household or a company you own or control (self-referral); customers who were already paying ISMS Copilot before they accepted your credit; and accounts or payments that break the rules below. Section 3.5 of the terms has the full list.

Payouts

Commissions are paid automatically every month to the payout method you choose in the dashboard, where offered for your country (for example bank transfer).

  • When: 30 days after the end of the month in which the customer paid, on the payout date shown in your dashboard.
  • Minimum: none.
  • Platform: payouts run through our partner platform, Tolt. Tolt may ask you to complete identity and tax forms before your first payout.
  • Tax: you handle your own tax and registration obligations.

Disclosure and brand rules

  • Disclose every time. Say that your link is an affiliate link, visibly, in words your audience sees. For a French audience, use "Publicité" or "Collaboration commerciale". Do not hide the disclosure behind a profile page, a link, a cluster of hashtags or a collapsed "more" section.
  • Make only truthful claims. Never say or imply that ISMS Copilot guarantees certification, audit success or legal compliance.
  • No brand bidding. Do not bid on "ISMS Copilot", "ISMSCopilot", "Better ISMS" or similar terms in search or social ads, and do not use them in domain names, app names or handles.
  • No spam, and no cookie stuffing, forced clicks or hidden redirects.
  • No incentives without our agreement. Cash, coupon or other incentives to sign up through your link need our written agreement first.

If you were already a partner

Referrals and unpaid commissions validly credited to you before the programme moved to Tolt stay credited, and commissions you already earned are paid whether or not you accept the new terms. Any rate agreed with you individually still applies, and partners in the ISMS Copilot Community group keep their agreed 50% rate.

Leaving

You can leave at any time from the dashboard or by writing to contact@ismscopilot.com. Leaving stops new referrals, but you keep the commissions you earned and your continuing commission on customers already credited to you.

The Referral Partner Programme Terms are the full and binding rules. Where this page and the terms differ, the terms apply.
